Drawer Lining

I like to add wallpaper in drawers as a pretty liner when I refinish desks and dressers. Makes the drawers look nice a finished on older pieces, and helps protect them.

Installation Types:

Temporary Adhesive: If you are installing wallpaper in small spaces such as bookshelves and drawers a temporary adhesive such as Elmer’s spray adhesive will keep the wallpaper in place, but also give you the ability to remove or replace it latter on.

Peel and Stick: A lot of wallpapers are made with an adhesive strip on the back which makes install a breeze.

Wallpaper Paste: Paste is the permanent and traditional way of applying wallpaper. If you are adding wallpaper to a larger area this is the most secure way to put it up.

Ideas and Patterns:

Faux Finishes: You can find wallpaper in an assortment of faux finishes such as brick, stone, and wood. Some of them are actually even in 3d and look very real. They actually can look pretty good, particularly in smaller areas like bookshelves.

Paintable: Paintable wallpapers are great for the indecisive or those who like to change up their environment often. These papers are textured, and you can paint them any color you like.
