Cement is becoming very popular for both counter-tops and sinks because of it’s durability and versatility. Cement can be dyed to whatever color you would like. It can be made with a chiseled edge for a for rustic look, and an additive can be used to give the cement some great texture.

Hand Painted Sink

If you want a colorful look you can include a hand painted sink in your design. If you do go this route make sure you simplify the countertops, cabinets and backsplash of your area. Painted sinks are a very bold look so simplifying the rest of the space will make the sink pop and make sure the room isn’t too busy.
